  • General discussion

  • Sorry, I cannot understand the logic of this!!!

So we need to be in a country where OneCare is available to purchase?????

In this case why were we allowed to download it in the first place??? (in my case I ended another anti-virus provider subscription!!!)

And even if currently I am in France working (so I can purchase it in France) who told you that I want my OneCare in French???

And even if I buy it I will not be able to add my second PC in my office in Portugal (since it is not in the list!!!!)

Well… OK no problem, back to my previous provider!

  • You do not need to keep your IE language in French. The activation process checks your IE language against your physical location when you create a subscription - that is for the first installation. Once you have established a subscription, you can change your IE language settings back to whatever you wish. OneCare will be in the PC operating system language, as long as it is supported. Any subsequent installations or reinstalls *will not* check your IP address against the IE language. it is only meant to restrict the creation of a subscription where OneCare is not sold or supported.
