Please post the details of the error and we may be able to determine the cause. Freezing up can be due to all kinds of things. Does it freeze to the point that you can't do anything until you power cycle the PC? Or does it stutter back to life?
You may want to contact support to have them determine if OneCare is not part of the problem.

If it fails to validate your subscription, select the option that you are using a trial or beta copy and you can proceed to email support without validation once you've signed in.

Are you using Windows Live OneCare? If so, what do you mean by "acting funny" and how does this relate to Windows Live OneCare?

yes im using windows one care. i mean my computer is freezing up and im getting this message saying that something about when i start my computer its got an erroe
