Remove From My Forums

i386 missing

I have just reinstalled my windows xp home edition after a crash and when i star loading over programs i keep getting "i386 file needed please insert xp disc" However on doing this nothing happens and the partially installed software closes. Can you help

It sounds to me like your reinstall of XP Home was not successful. You may also want to pursue this with the PC manufacturer's support pages.
