Possible to add button in Column Header for a View? RRS feed

    I would like to add a button in a column header for an entity list view. I would like it to be similar to the Refresh button that already exists in the column headers but I would like it to have different functionality.  Is it possible to do this in a supported way?

    What would the button do?

    There is no suported way to add button in view headers, but if you describe your requirement there might be other supported ways of doing it.

    Basically looking to create a popup which will contain some text that describes what the column is for if the user is unclear about it.

    I'm afraid that would be unsupported. Instead, you could have an IFrame with a legen that describes all the columns in your view

    Ok, thanks for the help.  I'll probably just leave the functionality out then since it would only be  needed for one column.
