about IFD configuration for crm 4.0 (on-premise) enterprise edition - 90 days trial

Hi,
Following the IFD configuration guide..
we are trying to do an "internet facing deployment" using the IFD tool. After installation of crm 4.0 > firstly using DNS manager we created an alias record (myorg.domain.com) and checked it in the server itself.. it worked.
>in IFD tool after entering all reqiured things.. we did "check dns" it got resolved. then in the file menu did "apply changes"
>but when we tried to login to the system outsids network (myorg.domain.com) we are not getting the signin page.. nor the crm site.
when we checked the web .config file.. the code line was missing..
is this issue something related to the "Bussiness setup license" should we be having the full license to do the IFD..???? please help....

As far as i know, editing the web.config is required only if you have any custom webpage that will be used in your IFD deployment.

Hi LOC
Try to ping your website and server name if it is redirecting to the your server then you don't have any issues with DNS. Make sure to check the IFD configuration.
