Google toolbar redirects?? RRS feed

  • when ever i click on the search results by google toolbar,

    it redirects to some advertisesites like 101clicks.com

    its like adware of malware, does any body knows abt it, or its removal tool.

    i have already tried hijackthis and fixwareout.

  • Try clearing your cookies and also block cookies for 101clicks.com.

    You can use the Ad-Aware 2007 software for removing spywares.....

  • If u use firefox , then in tools U can find Allow Cookies option ...
    Just disable it.. . ..

    But some sites need Cookies to be allowed ...
    Ex: Yahoo! Mail needs Cookies to login . .. .. ..

  • The sites which needs the cookies you can add them into the exceptions(It gives both features for allowing and disabling sites for setting cookies). And also you have the option in firefox to ask you for allowing or disabling cookies for a site whenever you open a new site.

    I think Firefox is best option to avoid such trouble...it provied options to bloack such ads which are not important..

  • And if you want to get rid of those annoying adds you can install an addon "AdBlock Plus".
