Virus protection for XP & Vista Computers on the same local network RRS feed

  • Question

We have 2 computers hooked up to our own local network in the home. The hub PC is the XP Computer and the other computer on the network is a Vista Computer. We had to take in the Vista machine to Best Buy to get diagnosed because it just wasn't working right to get online. They have told us that it has viruses & malware in it, which they are going to remove this coming week. As far as I can tell the XP machine is working fine and I am very happy with the complete program of Windows Live One Care. However how could viruses get by with One Care on the Vista machine ? That is disturbing. Can anybody reply & comment ?
