CRM error (Message from webpage) when selecting a lookup value in CRM 2011 in Windows 8.1 RRS feed

  • Hi Folks,

    I have been encountered with an issue while selecting a lookup value in CRM 2011 in Windows 8.1. The same is happening with multiple actions performed in CRM 2011.

    This message is blocking me each and every time when I perform multiple options like

    1) Run Report
    2) Landing Page
    3) Adding Notes
    4) Close Opportunities
    5) Exporting the data
    6) Selecting the Lookup values in a form
    7) Navigating through views
    8) Clicking on Advanced Find
    9) Lookup window for Subject
    10) Closing the Goal
    11) Opening a Goal Record etc....

    Can anybody help me with the cause for this error and resolution?

    Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks

  • Internet Explorer 11 isn't supported in CRM 2011 unless you have UR15, as I recall. If you have something past UR 12, you can use a non-IE browser to access the site on Windows 8.1.
