I have 3 Desktop Computers and 1 Laptop. They are all peer-to-peer connected through a router. 2 are Windows 2000 service pack 4, the laptop is run by Windows XP. and 1 desktop is an Apple MAC with OS-X ver 10.5.2.
I also have 2-IBM X-series 130 Servers. I own 5 static ip addresses. I want these servers to use Active Directory and set-up an Email Server and a Web Server. They have Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 (Standard Edition). I have disabled them because they were creating all kinds of problems and errors in the network. In other words I couldn't set them up properly.
A tech company suggested that the Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 (Standard Edition) can not be used for the purpose I want to accomplish. Then, why is it called a Small Business Server 2003?
Of course, I am a small business; otherwise I will not be in a small business forum. Thank you.
