Alternate for Exchange Server for Dynamics 4.0 & 5.0 RRS feed

    Hi,

    I would like to check if we can use any other alternate mail server in place of Exchange with Dynamics 4.0 and 5.0.  Also will it be possible in both E-mail Access Type Outlook as well as E-mail Router?

    You can configure the email router to use most POP3/SMTP compatible servers, Exchange is not a requirement. Personally, I use Google mail for my test environment and it works just fine. You will still be able to use the Outlook client and router as before.
