Can CRM 4 and CRM 2011 coexist? RRS feed

    Already had CRM 4.0 in production. Can I install CRM 2011 on a separated server in the same domain, then hope will migrate the 4.0 in the future?

    Yes, there is no problem with that, as long as no CRM component is installed on the same server . Actually you might need 2 instances of SQL because both deployment will need to create a database called MSCRM_CONFIG so they cannot coexist unless you use a separate SQL as well.
