    I was installing OneCare on a 2nd computer and had to delete AVG free at the same time.  I was promted to restart computer and it has added a password to log on to the computer and I cannot retrieve it.  I cannot even get to the start menu.  I have Windows XP.  Does anyone know how I retrieve this temporary password?  Thanks, Donna

    I'm not sure of how this happened because neither installing One Care or uninstalling AVG should have caused this. To reset your password start the computer in safe mode, log in using the Administrator account, go to Start>Control Panel>User Accounts>your account>Change Password. Change the password or remove it. Restart the computer.
