  Actually there is a Forum for Non-Genuine issues.  It is the Windows Genuine Advantage forum at http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/genuine/

  For your helpful replies.
  
  I think I've now sorted this out and found what happened and the solution ie Upgrade with a new copy of Office 2007.  In fact I've just done that.
  
  This thread is now "clutter".  Is it possible for me to delete it?
