According to your description, my understanding is that Launchpad on Windows 7 prompts message "Windows Server Computer Launchpad has stopped working" and failed to startup.
Check and install available Windows Update on both client and server sides, it might be helpful for resolving some known issues.
Turn off/disable 3rd party software, including anti-virus if any, or, download the Connector to local devise, and then re-install it in compatible mode. Check the result.
If the problem persists, any change before this problem happened? Does this problem only happen on specific device?
