Modifying reports RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I have created an option to run customised report from Accounts and Opportunities. Now it is displayed in "Run Report/Run On Selected Records/..." I now need to edit it, plus I want to delete some pre-set reports. How can I do this?

    Thank you.

  • Hi Emil,

If you navigate to Workplace > Reports you can highlight and edit or delete the existing SSRS reports.

If you choose to edit, you can amend certain details such as where it is displayed (in the reports view, against list views or within forms. If the report was created via the report wizard, you will be able to open the wizard and amend. If you need to download the report (rdl), click 'Actions > Download Report' then edit it in a suitable editor such as the SSRS Report Builder 3.0

  • You can't delete the OOB CRM reports. If you want to hide it from the regular users, go to the actions menu on a report edit window and click on 'Revert to personal report' (or something like that).
