Minimise Computer Remote Access RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hi,

I did a search about this but nothing turned up.

I think it would be good if you could minimise the full screen remote access window like you can with a normal remote desktop session.  With the web-based client that Windows Home Server hosts you only have the option to close the window.  This makes it difficult when you want to work on both the local and the remote computer at the same time.  I realise that you could just reduce the size of the remote window in the options, but it's nice to be able to use it in full screen.

Here are some screenshots to help explain what I'm talking about:

As you can see there is an option to minimise the window on the windows client.

  • Such a simple feature that is overlooked, im glad someone else points this out.  I vote 2 for this to be fixed.

  • There is an active suggestion to this effect on Connect. You should vote if you think it's a useful (or useless ) feature.
