Windows 7 Built 7600 Copy Not Genuine

Question
-
Starting from 2 days ago, I have been ignoring a notification telling me to activate my Windows 7. And yesterday, the "Windows 7 Built 7600 This copy of windows is not genuine" showed up on my desktop and everything turned black.
Currently, I am using a 'Vista-upgraded-to-Win 7' operating system on my laptop. I have done some reading and was told that I need to type in my 'original operating system's product key.' So upon reading this, I tried to activate my OS but to no avail - it's telling me that my product key is incorrect. I am currently out of state and I cannot get my hands on my Win7 product key. So, does that mean I need to type in my windows 7 product key instead?
My friends are telling me that even if i can get my parents to locate the product key, it may not work because Microsoft is already suspicious of my product key as it verifies the key whenever I connect to the internet. Therefore suggesting that even if I submit and activate my windows 7 product key, it will not work due to Microsoft's suspicion. I went onto Microsoft and downloaded "Windows Activation Update' and it suggested that I may be a victim to software piracy.
I am 100% sure that my current operating system is genuine because I got the upgrade CD from my laptop manufacturer (Acer).
Is there a solution to my problem?

The Key in use here is the Default (Keyless Install) Key, which cannot be activated. You have to find your own Key wherever it is and then change the Key to that and activate it.Until then, you could try re-arming your system, which will give you another 30 days to find your proper Key.....(since the system is already out-of-time this may not work)Click on the Start buttonin the Search box, typeCMDwait for the system to find the one file, and then right-click on the found file, and select 'Run as Administrator'Accept the UAC prompt if you get one.in the Elevated Command Prompt window that comes up, typeSLMGR.VBS -rearmand hit the Enter key.with any luck you'll get a 'success' message.RebootNote that when you find your Upgrade Key, it may not work (depending on exactly what type it is) - either post back here, or post in the Answers Win 7 Install forums for more assistance.
