"Invalid email address" when SET REGARDING to CRM 2011 through Outlook Add On (on premises) RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I am getting below msg when clicking "SET REGARDING" after selecting meeting to be linked to CRM from my Outlook.

    "Invalid e-mail address. For more information, contact your Microsoft Dynamics CRM administrator. Item Name = (here is my appointment title)"

    - I have latest roll up

    - this is on premises

    - I am testing this so I don't have an email address but still connected to Outlook for testing, (This was not an issue before until today it started acting up)

    I browsed the boards and it looks like this was an issue many years ago so I am completely lost why am I getting this
