Renewed using retail key but status not reflected through WLOC yet RRS feed

  • Question

  • My subscription was due to expire late next month so I've renewed using a retail licence key.

My account in Billing reflects this fact and shows an expiration date of late January 2009 now, but the change isn't yet reflected within WLOC itself when I open it.

Is there a delay before the information filters through to WLOC itself and it shows my new expiration date?

    Many thanks,
    Michael Charlton

  • Yes. The new expiration date will not be reflected in OneCare until after the renewal date has been reached. Your new subscription, while updated on the Billing system, does not have an effective date until January of 2008.

  • Looks like it's coming through now.

Got an email earlier that basically says my renewal was successful.  The application also now says that my subscription will automatically renew in 30 days now, rather than saying it'll expire in 30 days.

    Thanks for the info.
