I have 2 server 2008 x64. One i the domain control/exchange server. The other has SQL Server and CRM 4.0.
I am now trying to install the E-mail router. Installs well. But, cannot configure.
I setup a simple incoming and outgoing profile.
I setup my deployment. I have entered in the URL to the CRM server correctly as I can copy and paste it into the browser and it works.
When I got to Load Data from CRM> I get a nice big error box: Unable to retrieve user and queue information....The underlying connection was closed....an unexpected error occurred on a recieve.
I have everything configured to run as a Domain Admin, just to see if I can get it working and rule that out. The Domain Admin is alsothe primary admin in CRM.
I did make CRM use SSL but I have bindings for both SSL and non-SSL on different ports. The URL's work perfect in the browser as the Domain Admin.
I've added both machines and the domain admin to that PrivUsrGroup.
I've installed teh email router on both the servers and get the same error. Does anyone know what I should look for next? Any logs to know why the connection was closed?
This is resolved. I had flipped the ports between https and http. Looks like the email router looks into the CRM database to get the url to the crm serer instead of usign the URL on the deployment tab. So, once that info was re-aligned in the database it all works.
Thanks,

When you say you have non-SSL on different ports do you mean that it's something other than port 80? Have you tried including the port number in the URL?
