Unable to Send Email from within CRM

Question
-
When I open either an account or contact to send an email regardless of whether it is from within Outlook that I accessed CRM or on the web - I receive an "error on page" message - I am also unable to type in the body section of the window - my security roles are exactly the same as that of my colleague - she is able to perform this action.Monday, September 28, 2009 2:52 PM

Assuming this is CRM 4, when you close the email page, you should a popup asking you to send the information to Microsoft. In that popup is a link to view the details; post that text and it should contain some helpful information.
If your colleague can perform the action and you can't and all your settings are the same and you are trying to email the exact same account or contact which neither of you own, I would review IE settings and look for differences there.- Proposed as answer by Donna EdwardsMVP Monday, October 12, 2009 2:31 PM

In addition to above, ensure you're using the same URL to access CRM. I had a customer who was using the IP address to browse CRM and they were having the same problem (they were also having problems trying to attach files to any Notes section). Once they started using the servername (http://crm01), the problems went away.Shaf

Try to Perform the same action from your friends machine.
I doubt the IE settings is the problem here.If everything works fine from your frnds machine then try resetting your IE settings to default.
