    I am having touble removing existing virus protection(AVG and McAfee) to continue the instalation of OneCare. I have tried to remove from control panel.

    As for AVG, try reinstalling it and then uninstalling it?

    If you have both installed on the same machine, bear in mind it's a very bad idea to have two antivirus programs installed simultaneously - that could be the cause of the removal problems.
