MOE failed with status code: 500 Internal server error RRS feed

  • I have been using Mesh with Live Desktop and my Laptop as a device successfully for weeks.  One day, the Live Mesh program on my laptop failed to work properly.  I restarted my computer to try to fix it, but this did not work.  I uninstalled the Live Mesh program and reinstalled it.  Now I get the following error whenever I try to login with my laptop:

    "Unable to sign in to Live Mesh.
    Please make sure your username and password are correct.

    Request to MOE failed with status code:
    500 Internal server error."

    I know my username and password are correct.

    Anyone know how to fix this problem?

    There are a few threads on this, and we're working to resolve the issue as quickly as we can.  You may want to search around the forums a little, as some people have been able to resolve the issue (e.g., see here).  We'll certainly let you know as soon as we have an update.

    Thank you for the quick informative reply.

    I will try deleting my cookies on my laptop when I get home.  I will let you know if this fixed the problem.
