I posted yesterday a 'can't mount' problem (no answer). Another machine trying to open the archive generates a z:\System Volume\Some Guid.... is corrupt and unreadable. I found that its only the C: partition that is bad and that the very first manual backup is ok. So I lost 'only' two months of data on the OS partition.
My question going forward: is there a way to verify that the daily backup is good, without having to manual open it up and extract a file? Would make WHS less than ideal for backup if I don't know that the data is any good ....
