USB 3.0 drivers for gigabyte A75M-DS2 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I did my 1st build and cannot get the USB 3.0 working.

I have no optical so I transferred the cd driver for the gigabyte A75M-DS2 to usb.  I pointed device manager to the flash drive w/no success.  Ran the .exe for the USB 3 setup and the program ran and supposedly installed but device manager says no go....

gbyte site doesn't seem to have anything more recent.

/./// gbyte repies..."Unfortunately AMD did not provide supported drivers for Windows Server, but Windows only:"   ehh?

  • Start with the Windows 7 x64 drivers, then try the Vista x64 drivers if the Windows 7 drivers don't work. If neither one works, though, then there's no way you're going to get the USB 3.0 ports working.

In that case, if the USB 3 ports are a crucial requirement, find a similar motherboard that supplies Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 drivers.

I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)
