Need to Fully Uninstall WHS Connector on Client RRS feed

  • Question

  • The connector stopped working correctly on my Vista Premium client, so I did an uninstall of the WHS connector software via the add/remove programs. When I try to reinstall the connector from the shared software folder on the server, the installer says the WHS connector software wasn't removed on the client. I'm guessing there's some reg. keys etc that need to be removed, but I'm unsure of what and where. I think once they're removed, I can reinstall. Can someone kindly give me some clues what I should remove on the old install...so the new one can install?

Thanks in advance for your help.

  • As is usual for me...give me enough time, and I'll figure it out. Kinda a 'feel stupid' moment when I realized I was removing the WHS client, but not the "HP SmartMedia Server" application...which is what I needed to do. All is good here...thanks for all those who spent the time to read this.
