    Hi, Folks!

    I've been trying like mad to find a venue where I can get help with the installation of the Sharepoint Designer free 60-day trial offer; I hope this is a good place -- if not, perhaps some kind soul can re-direct me to the right place...

    I tried downloading the FTO this morning, but...

    1) the "Setup Wizard" never appeared; all I got was an .exe file in my C: directory
    2) when I tried to run that .exe file, all I got was a screen that offered to let me reconfigure (e.g., Repair, Remove, Convert -- I may even have "converted" accidentally, and I don't want that right now...)
    3) having a helluva time trying to find help...

     Hi Lon,

    make sure you are using XP SP2 or Windows 2003 SP1 or later.

    Are you maybe using a 64-bit OS..

    I would:

    1. check add/remove programs in contral panel, remove SharePoint Designer
    2. restart computer
    3. install sharepoint designer with .exe file or .msi
