Mesh Forces to Sync to Wrong Directory

Question
-
Local folder on my machine d:\scanned documents
When I sync to Mesh - it forces d:\canned documents
I've tried removing from mesh - and starting a new sync.
I've tried changing the folder on Manage Folders
I've tried a dozen things - and everytime - no matter what I do - when I select to sync this folder - it changes to d:\canned documents.
If canned documents isn't there (always because I keep deleting it) it creates the directory again.
Any ideas?
Thank you!

Hi, Scott. This is a bug in Windows Live Mesh. Apparently, when the source folder exists as a root folder the destination folder cannot be changed.
Since you are referring to Windows Live Mesh, not Live Mesh - www.mesh.com, you are in the wrong forum.
For discussion of the new Windows Live Mesh (formerly Sync), (as well as the released Live Sync version) go here:

Hi Steve,
Thx for the heads up.
Can you tell me the difference now between Mesh and Live Mesh? Like everyone else, I'm confused with the naming. Is Mesh.com still available? To be honest, I like it better than the current Live Mesh Sync.
Thanks for the time.

Thank you Steve,
I tried moving my folder into a subfolder of "Mesh Sync" and then it created "D:\esh Sync\Scanned Documents" - so it's the same problem.
I've moved the thread (as you sugested) over to ...

Mesh Sync? Is this a folder you created?
If so, move that folder (on the source machine) to live within your \Users\%user%\ branch, perhaps within Documents. See if that then allows you to specifiy the end point.
I have no folder called \Mesh Sync. If that folder is a top level Sync folder, then that folder is at the root of D:\ and causes the issue for anything contained within, as far as I know.
I know -- I should continue the discussion in the other thread and not here. :-) So, don't answer the questions here!
