Current release of SDK incomplete?

    Question

  • Hey there,

With regards to the current release of the SoraSDK, the documentation provided is inconsistent with the actual installed files.

There is no \src\ or \tools\ installed by the SDK msi file, and the \lib\ seems rather incomplete, though the latter could be through misunderstanding.

Will there be an updated release with these additional directories?

  • A complete sample with full source code (802.11b implementation base on SORA platform) is ready.

We'll publish it via Microsoft Research download site soon.
I'll announce it here once it's online.

    Thanks,

  • Hi Cory,

Current release only includes core files (header files, library) and reference document for Sora SDK.
The \src directory is for 802.11b sample implementation.
We'll release 802.11b sample code in an individual package. It will be available through the MSR download site soon.

We'll annouce it here once it's available.
    Sorry for the inconvinience.

  • It would be extremely helpful to have at least a small code snippet of a simple initialization of a single radio.

we are struggling at this point to get something like this to compile/link/execute.

(see my other recent post in the forum)
