I also have "Lost connection to the session?"

Question
-
Hi,
I'm very curious about this new technology.
I can sign in with my live ID, but every time i join/start a session, I get the message:
"Lost connection to the session"
This happens even if i use the option "Skip invitation". The session never starts.
I already tried:
- Invite with messenger
- Invite with telephone
- Skip invite
Is this a known issue?
Many Thanks,
j

I have the same problem too. It seems to be related to the User ID. Both of my Live Ids failed in the same way you describe and a friend could start a session in my machine!! So it might be using special characters (áéí...etc) while registering Tahití after signing in for the first time, I guess... as it is not the machine, but the users.
Now I am trying to find out how to unregister it to re-register it again...

http://forums.microsoft.com/codenametahiti/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=1402515&SiteID=53 is another thread about this issue where if you have special characters in your Windows Live ID. This issue is fixed in newer builds. If you are able to use another ID until we release the new version this will resolve the problem. Thank you for using "Tahiti".Thursday, March 29, 2007 5:34 PM

Jfrcharruadas, if you are not running into the same issue I will need a little bit more information. Could you please provide me with you logfile. You can find it in your temp directory. From a run window type “%temp%” and send me (brianneu@microsoft.com) / or post the latest tahiti-debug**.txt file. Also let me know what version of Windows you are using and if there is anything unique about you network setup/connection. Thanks for using Tahiti and helping us make it better.
