RE: One Care Circle

Question
-
Trying to add another computer to the circle. Located the One Care wireless network. However, the password query would not accept the password in my records. What do I need to do to correct this problem?

Are you referring to the subscription LiveID and password to activate the installed copy on the new PC? If so, you can reset your password at http://account.live.com
Verify that it is your subscription LiveID by opening OneCare on the PC already activated and go to Help/About to see the subscription ID.
If you have a problem resetting your password, you can get help from support:

If you are referring to the wireless security key for WiFi security, you can get that key by opening OneCare on the PC that you used to set up WiFi security and going to change settings/Firewall and clicking the wireless security button there. The key will only be available on the PC where you set up the security.

Thank you very much. The Wifi security key was the solution. Will write it down again.

Glad that it helped. I originally thought you might have meant the security key, but then though you might have been trying to activate. Hence both parts of my answer. ;-) I'll move this over to the Secure WiFi topic forum.
