  • Hi Phdfl

Unfurtunally SyncToy v2.0 cannot guarantee the order in which it will synchronize the folder pairs created by the user.  We will consider adding this support in our next release.

  • Hi Phdfl

Basically you want to know if the naming of the folder pairs affects the order in which a synchronization task (per folder pair) is executed within SyncToy.  Am I correct?

I did not understand whta you meant with Step -1 Contribute Step-2 Echo?  Are you trying to find a rule that will first synchronize pairs that do Contribute, then pairs that do Echo?

  • Hello,

You are correct : I want control the order of tasks since the operations are not transitive.

    For example :

    Step 1: contribute from A to C

    Step 2: contribute from B to C

    Step 3: echo from C to D

    Thanks
