Certificate export script along with password complexity and password age limit

I know we have export-certificate cmdlet. But is there a way we can write an script for powershell script for windows 7 or powershell version 2 in which this module is not available. Script also should include password setting option and complexity and password age limit

You should not be using PS 2. It is no longer supported by MS.

Look in the Gallery for old PS2 scripts for managing certificates.

Hey, you still have the certificates provider in v2 so you can access any certificate by Set-Location Cert:

What do you mean by export? Do you mean to a cer file? Do you want the private key? Are you just looking for the thumbprint? Also are we talking about certificates in the user store, the computer store or a service account store?

For password complexity and age, are these computers domain joined? Are you trying to verify that group policy is working correctly or something like that? Or are these non-domain joined computers?
