WMI - Execute a remote Bat file to start MS Access and run a macro RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm using WMI to connect to a remote serer. That works fine! I can execute a simple .bat to copy a file from one folder to another. Good! I need to kick off a .bat to start up MS Access. This .bat contains a macro that Access is supposed to execute.

    ExecuteSample.bat

    "D:\Apps\Microsoft Office\office12\MSACCESS.EXE" "D:\ [path]\SampleTestRun.accdb" /excl /x mcrReload

The .bat file does start and so does MS Acess. I can see both the cmd.exe and MSACCESS.exe in task manager but they just hang.

Has anyone encountered this or know of possible issues/remedies?

    Thanks
