  • i reinstall my laptop  using my freinds cd.. when installing the OS i skipped the key sesion. Now i've trouble with updating ...and my current vista have it own key but then when i wanna key in my OEM key (as at back of my laptop) it say not valid. and i now dont what to do..

    where i should get the vista softcopy

  • Hello ajimi,

      Using the COA SLP key (the OEM key on the sticker on the computer) in a Retail copy of Vista (or in an OEM copy of Vista from a different manufacturer then your computer) can have unpredictable (usually unsuccessful) results.  It is highly suggested that you use the OEM software that originally came with the computer. If you do not have the original software, a replacement can be obtained from the manufacturer of your computer.
