Question

I have installed the public beta version of live meeting outlook addin. The problem is I can't see the live meeting toolbar in my outlook calendar. I use Outlook 2007 and any help will be appreciated.

Sorry for the late reply but there is a bug file on this. Exchange System Manager and Outlook is not supported on the same machine so the bug has been closed as won't fix. One of the reason that the Addin is failing is because they use different version of Mapi32.dll files. Some customer have resolved there issue by renaming the mapi32.dll and doing a repair on Office, but this may cause you to have issue with Exchange System Manager.

Have you tried to reinstall the addin? Have you restarted Outlook? Make sure you change the Live Meeting policy as well.Tuesday, May 15, 2007 5:14 AM

I have reinstalled it couple of times. I have also restarted outlook. The live meeting policy is also enabled. I have even gone as far as uninstalling office 2007 and installing it again. I have checked the disabled items in outlook but no luck. I installed it on my home PC and I could see the live meeting toolbar on the calendar so I suspect it is something to do with registry. One other question. What does the service url in live meeting used for? Thanks

I have the same error. When I look at the communicator icon in my taks bar I see the message "Outlook integration errors" I've also tried removing/re-installing and checking the policy.Thursday, May 17, 2007 3:18 PM

When you right click an area on the toolbar do even see the Microsoft Office Livemeeting as an option to customize? Do you have a confercing tab in the menu beside Tools and Action? When you did the install was Outlook running?
Also do you have the Exchange System Manager running on this machine?
Can you tell what is the version number of mapi32.dll?
The Service URL is LiveMeeting that is being hosted by Microsoft.

I'm seeing this same issue on RC of the LM addin pack and Office 2007. After you install the LM addin pack its no where to be found in Outlook, if you set up a new profile you can get it sometimes. But the old profile can't pickup the add in. Outlook was not running when did the install.Friday, June 15, 2007 6:48 PM

Just run fixmapi from your run menu and that's it.
