Hard drive backup / redundancy question

  Hello:

  it looks like the RC has changed how hard drive behave.

   

  My question is what if one of the hard drives goes bad?

   

  It did not give me the option on which hard drive to install the os to, and it looks like a big pool right now.

   

  obviously the bios is set to boot to a given hard drive.

   

  If it was to go down, would it be game over?
