access to photos from homserver webpage RRS feed

  • Question

  • I cannot make multiple selections and download multiple files from the photos folder when accessing the homeserver via the internet. I can use the Ctrl key and select the multiple files but when I downlaod it is just the first file I selected. Is there a fix or a addin that allows better file manipulation?

  • Is your home server up to date? In the console, Settings tab, resources pane, what are the version numbers of the Windows Home Server components?
I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)

You have the beta version of Power Pack 3 installed.  You should try uninstalling it and reboot your server, then see if it works afterwards.  If it does, you should file a bug report on Connect.

  • If you are using the home server file sharing webpage, then it is not necessarily to hold Ctrl keys.
    Just
    1. select the checkbox or click on the file icon   to select the file
    2. find and click the download button above the file list view
then you will be asked if you want to download them as a zip or a self-extracted exe
