issue regarding a windows error and fix it's solution

Question

I had to replace my motherboard a few months ago and I replaces it with a ASUS M4A785-M. This board has a NVIDIA 4200HD onboard video card. Everything was working well till I got this error:
<a href="http://s62.photobucket.com/albums/h83/PirateTreasureNC/?action=view¤t=error_pc.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h83/PirateTreasureNC/error_pc.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
I have called NVIDIA and ASUS and done all the driver updates possible for the hardware in question yet the error persists. They did suggest doing a full restore on the computer if the updates did not fix the problem. I just used this new fix it program here and this is what it found on video issues:

Dear customer,
Thanks for clarifying the background. My understanding is that the blue screen shown in the image was most probably caused by a faulty device driver program for the ATI graphics card. This isn't an issue about codecs. Thus I am sorry to tell you that it won't be fixed with the Fix it troubleshooter you attempted. Please kindly work with ASUS / ATI to resolve the problem.

Dear customer,
Per the information you provided in the image, the computer crash was related to an ATI driver, most probably for the graphics card in your computer. Please consult with ATI for further troubleshooting.

Well, I have done the Driver thing like I stated before.... Can I do repair install instead of a full restore? Or would you recommend the full restore option?Monday, September 6, 2010 1:55 AM
