I'm sorry that you've had so many problems with OneCare. If you wish to delete the backups, see this post - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=1698096&SiteID=2

I am also done with Liveonecare ! It is an understatement to say that there is any value for money in it.
Liveonecare really annoyed me. It messed up all the systems at home and at work.
It took me a lot of time to repair all these.
When Liveonecare was running at the background it was impossible to build a VPN connection .
The HELP didn't provide any help to overcome this problem.
Finally good a old google search provided a solution.
Go to http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=663806&SiteID=2 for simple and complete uninstall, because normal procedures do not work here!
Only care for live in this manner once!
Good luck.

I'm sorry that you feel that OneCare provides no value for the money due to your problem with a VPN connection. I can't speak to your specific environment, but some VPN software will not work with OneCare (and other security software) simply because of the way the VPN software expects to interact with the network stack.
