CRM Certifications? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a history with Microsoft CRM, but am not certified.  Do certifications even matter for CRM 2011?  If so, where is the best place to get started?

  • Danny is correct.

Certification matters. As a hiring manager, if I had to choose between two candiates with similar qualifications, I would choose the one that spent the time and energy to get certified.

As a practicioner of any job, people focus on some things and not others. Becoming certified and then staying certified allows me to make sure that I am aware of all facets of a technology, even if I am not currently working with certain parts of the technology.

There are several exams that cover CRM 2011. Please follow the link that Danny provided and look in the MCTS section for CRM. Each exam page will least details about what the exam covers, how to prepare for the exam and more.

    Good luck!
