I just want to confirm my understanding with someone expert:
If I assign security roles to an owner team and each user on the team.
What effect does the security role that is assigned to the team have on the individual team members?
The user is granted the least restrictive permissions of the two roles. Right?
I am referring actually to what is written in the dynamics 365 materials :
- Security Roles can be assigned to teams
- A Security Role is required for a team to own records
- A team must belong to only one Business Unit
- Team members can come from any Business Unit
- User and Team security roles will be combined and users will be granted
the least restrictive access level for that record type and privilege.
