How to import and add Contacts to specific Marketing Lists without creating duplicates RRS feed

  • Would anyone have a solution for importing 20-ish Excel sheets without creating duplicates but preserving the individual lists?

    I explain:
     Excel 1 contains contacts A, B, C and D.
     Excel 2 contains contacts C, D, E and F.
     Excel 3 contains contacts A, E, F and G.

    I first import Excel 1 and add the newly-created contacts A, B, C and D to Marketing List 1. I then import Excel 2 without creating duplicates (so C and D will not be imported again, contacts E and F are added). How do I find contacts C and D after importing Excel 2 to be able to add them to Marketing List 2? And so on for Excel 3, 4, etc.

    Our duplicate detection runs on Full Name and on Email Address 1. We are running CRM 2011.

    Anyone faced with the same problem? I would appreciate some ideas.
