Which case have it to use mediation server? RRS feed

  • I have a gateway to use but I don't know if I need or not mediation server for inbound - outbound communication.

  • This is true.  The advanced server has a mediation server built in.  From what I understand currently Dialogic has a solution currently in beta and Audiocodes hopes to have one soon.  If you are using either the Dialogic DMG series or the Audiocodes Mediant series, those are basic gateways (and I believe the only ones currently generally available).

  • But Microsoft said that if you have a basic gateway you have to use mediation server, but if you have a advanced gateway you don't need medition server.
