Communicator reconnection when the RCC gateway is no more available RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello  all,

we are implementing a MOCS 2007 RCC gateway to make phone integration (without the voice) with existing PBX. The problem is when the gateway server is closed (either properly or not, or if there is a cable deconnection...), the Communicators are not reconnecting properly when the gateway will be up again.
In fact, after restarting the gateway, we can see after some time that all the Communicators are sending a new RequestSystemStatus+GetCSTAFeatures+MonitorStart sequence, so everything would be fine. BUT when a Communicator makes a call, although the called Communicator properly sees the incoming call (which means it receives the event) and can answer it, the call actions (ClearConnetion, HoldCall...) are not made available. In the logs all SIP/CSTA events are correct. Do you have an idea why this happens?

And more generally, do you know where I find the document specifying what actions should be undertaken in of failure of a RCC (or of the link between the RCC and OCS)?

    thanks for your help.
