I installed an new program and now windows wont validate

Question

Hi
I've brought and upgraded to vista from a national UK PC dealer. I installed a version of Zone Alarm. It turns out after I installed it it was incompatable - not a big surprise as everthing is apparently.
Any way when I boot up windows I get an error message saying the trueVector (zonealarm) driver is incompatable troubleshoot online?
TroubleShoot online brings up no more useful information so I've ran windows search and it cant find any drivers, dll files or any trace of the apparent driver. I deleted it via CCleaner which to be honest is a lot better than the standard system remove.
I normally run system remove then run ccleaner afterwards to remove left over files fix registry all the stuff windows misses.
Any way I've been getting this message for about 3 days when I turn my computer on. I just turned on my computer this morning and got an invaild windows. The supplier is absolutley genuine. I wouldn't be posting if they weren't
Error code - [0xC004D401].
So by that page of the genuine microsoft software vaildation I take it it is that program which has caused windows to be invalid.
Cant say I'm amused that I've spent money on -
1. A *** peice of software where all my website design software doesn't validate costing me even more money upgrading to the latest versions costing hundreds of pounds, getting close to a $1000, when the newer versions offer appaling benefits IE: prebuilt JS that gives unreadable code, redicuilous bloat, appaling ajax and a shocking built in FTP plus the time needed to get use to the new GUI. Whoa that was worth an extra grand - cheers.
2. Time wasted emailing the companies to ask them to patch it if possible - the ones that have no latest versions and are old but still perfect for my needs which are hard to find even on the net.
3. That a simple program that is not even microsoft related has made my copy of windows invaild - Yeah cheers for that alone.
4. The useless incompatiabilty tool that -
a. Tells me a program is incompatable.
b. Wont tell me which dir it is in so I can remove it manually.
c. Wont remove it automatically or offer me the oppertunity for windows to remove it for me.
However as windows search wont pick anything up how can I fix this problem?
Go through each system32 file 1 by 1 please.
I've searched for the following files, authors and keywords in windows advanced search.
TrueVector
trueVectors
true vector
true vectors
zone alarm
zonealarm
ZoneAlarm
client something or other, There other name.
The incompatable program is a TrueVector driver.
Zonealarm is not detectable by windows remove or the far superior CCleaner.
Heres my read out as I say I've brought it from a national PC store if it was a guy down the pub/bar out of a plastic bag with a dodgy mustache I wouldn't be posting.

According to the read out office is invaild - again brought from the same National UK supplier who have over 250 stores
Also my default browser is not IE7 it FireFox 2.11
Will I still get window updates?
I only upgraded as you have fixed the large amount of security issues you once had.
Really wish I hadn't and stuck with XP, it would have cost me a hell of a lot less, in time and money.
Can any one suggest a way around this before I delete it off my computer entirely and either re-install XP, or another one of 2 that isn't microsofts, and sell my copy on Ebay under the category useless.

I've been having the same Truevector incomatability issue. Every time I boot up, I get this meesage window. I too have looked everywhere to try to remove the problem driver. Though I see your complaint thread and Thanks thread, I do not see a thread explaining the fix to the Truevector compatability issue. Could you point me toward a resolution?
Thanks
