Need help in OCS Installation RRS feed

  • Dear Friends,

    I am trying to install OCS2007 on Win2008 Server. While on "Configure Certificate" wizard i am not able to create certificate.
    What should I enter in "Specify the certificate authority that will be used to request this certificate"?

  • Hi Sharadsharma,

    Thanks for your help but in my server, 1st option "select a certificate authority from the list detected in your enviorment" is disable. I can't select anything. Forcefully I have to go with second option. So in second option what should I enter?

    Fist off, do you have an internal Enterprise Certificate Authority deployed in your environment?  And if so is this an Edge server you are configuring?  If you have no internal CA or are on a server not in the domain then no CA will be listed in the wizard menu.  You'll have to create an offline request and submit the CSR to a third party CA (e.g. Entrust, Digicert, Verisign, etc).  Otherwise it's recommended to deploy an internal CA to support OCS (among other products).
