I shared SharedView with the team a few weeks ago, raving (it's nice). But the boss came back and asked, "What's Microsoft's business model for this?"
I think he had concerns that if it's free with no business incentive on Microsoft's part, it was likely just dumped out there to be forgotten. It's not the first time that's happened (and I'm not talking about Microsoft in saying that).
Is it just to increase the value of Windows and Office? And if so, why is it that the only place I've heard about it was on someone's blog?
