I am a former OneCare subscriber (from Oct 08 to Oct 09).
My harddrive chashed in May 08. Luckily, I had recently backed up my files using OneCare. However, I encounter significant technical problems when I tried to reinstall OneCare. I spent over 20 hours online with "experts" trying to correct the problem ... and I never did get the program installed. I thought I could recover my files using OneCare on my laptop and tried to renew my subscription so I could the "Restore" feature ... but, Microsoft is nolonger accepting OneCare customers; they did offer Microsoft Security Essentials. I no longer have a computer with an operable OneCare service.
How do I recover the "backed up" files?
