Problem deleting report RRS feed

  • Question

  • When trying to delete a report from within CRM, I get the following error:

    Unhandled Exception: System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[[Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk.OrganizationServiceFault, Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk, Version=5.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35]]: System.Web.HttpUnhandledException: Microsoft Dynamics CRM has experienced an error. Reference number for administrators or support: #2047B7BBDetail:
    <OrganizationServiceFault xmlns:i="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/xrm/2011/Contracts">

      <ErrorDetails xmlns:d2p1="http://schemas.datacontract.org/2004/07/System.Collections.Generic" />
      <Message>System.Web.HttpUnhandledException: Microsoft Dynamics CRM has experienced an error. Reference number for administrators or support: #2047B7BB</Message>

        <ErrorDetails xmlns:d3p1="http://schemas.datacontract.org/2004/07/System.Collections.Generic" />
        <Message>Error occurred while deleting an item from the report server.</Message>

        <TraceText i:nil="true" />
      </InnerFault>
      <TraceText i:nil="true" />
    </OrganizationServiceFault>
    So I logged onto the report server and deleted them, but they still show up in CRM, either online or in Outlook

  • Please follow the instructions below,

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2856604

    Once done - perform an IIS reset and check back.

    Hope this will help!

  • Would this error possibly be the reason the report failed? The report I'm trying to delete is the one referenced HERE. The report ran as scheduled today, but was a day behind.
